Semik explained a bit of paper he was holding to me that had names on it with amounts of Kina by each name

Interpretation

It seems like vanilla beans are being sold to a middle man now that Nancy doesn't deal in cash. Nancy is trying to pay people in their bank accounts (I think it's micash).I think what's happened is that the middle man grouped several Kovol sellers together and gave money in a batch to someone who came later.
