Description
Samuel took us to a garden. The ladies cleaned the garden and then we men worked. Starting at the top of the garden we cut trees about arm thick or less down with machetes. We cut the trees at about knee height or higher to leave handholds to climb up and down while gardening later and I was told also to not be so dangerous if someone fell. We stripped branches of the felled trees and gathered the sticks into various piles, seperating out those with forks on them. I was told that since we were a big group we didn't need to work too hard at making piles, but men working alone would.
