Description

Children are numbered and referred to this way

Interpretation

Kovol people find it important to number their children. The order of birth determines the identifier; so if a girl is born first (limɔŋ) and a boy 2nd the boy will be egam, not kem. If a child dies young their spot isn't replaced, the next child takes the next identifier
